Ingrid through the years

The interface has changed; the grid inside a grid has stayed. These captures show the early Desktop editor, the 2026 rebuild and the current workspace.

2022 · The early Desktop editor

The earliest surviving Desktop source dates to December 2021. By July 2022, nested grids sit between collapsible toolbars, with colored action icons and a small map of the document.

July 2022 renderer restored from source and captured in November 2026 with newly prepared sample notes. Hosted in a browser for this capture; this is not an original dated screenshot or a test of the native installer. Full-size image

June 2026 · A new editor foundation

The current editor lineage began in April. This June snapshot shows its original demo: nested notes, to-dos, code, math and media tiles, surrounded by grouped controls for working with the grid.

November 2026 · Views together

Tabs and panes make room for several grids, or several views of one grid. Here the built-in tour stays open beside a focused view of its project plan. Edits and Undo are shared; focus and folds belong to each view.
